Boeoes Kaelstigen's sent us this tune that will be on the Danish pop quartet Printers new album. We got a promo of it sent to us last week and it sounds very promising.

In a short time Dmitry Fyodorov has became one of Radio Sidekicks favourite Swedish acts. This is a polished version of 1b-1 that was one of the first tracks they uploaded to their MySpace and now finally gets a proper release.
Another good news is that every 29th of 2008 Adrian Recordings will drop a new tune by Dmitry Fyodorov.

First time I’ve heard this I was a bit sceptical if it really was a Justice tune. But now I’ve herd from a couple of sources that it is Justice and that it’s from the new Ed Banger volume III, soon to be released. So enjoy this rock n roll track.

We got this tune in the mail from the Swedish duo Yeah! Woho!. They got tiered of distorted bass line house and did a recycled version of “This is sick”. They only got samples from the original except the voice sample “Yeah”, that’s from Romanthony’s Floorpiece (Glasgow Underground).

Last night

Thanks everyone that came to the show last night. We did a gig at Debaser after Vit Päls brilliant performance. We were a bit worried because it was a club that mostly have rock nights but the people were amazing and the dancefloor was bumping all night.

Apparat - Arcadia (Boys Noize Remix)

I love this remix by Boys Noize of Apparats tune Arcadia. It’s over 12 minuets long and it could have been twice that long without me knowing. I’ve been out walking a lot today and every time this came on in my mp3player I started to walk a little bit slower so I could listen to the whole thing before I got to my destination.

Grand National - By The Time (Mondkopf remix)

I got this from the Fluokids blog and there seems to be a contest going on mixing this tune. But I like this remix by Mondkopf. I like that it’s quite a slow tune with the vocals going on repeat but still doesn’t get boring.

This is one of the better remixes I’ve heard of Zdarlight. One of my favourite tunes from last year was the mashup Joakim did with M.I.A.
Next to Justice, Digitalism must be one of the most remixed artists last year. Im not even sure if I’ve heard any of the original album tracks.

Stockholm Beat Connection

Stockholm Beat Connection is one of our favourite blogs that we visit every day. Always great thoughts and fresh music to keep you updated. It’s been a big inspiration and of course we wanted to know what their highlights were during the last year.


It was an honour when Radio Sidekick asked me to line up some of my favourite tracks during my DJ set’s this year! I thought this would be simple, but when I sat down during the holiday season to sum up 2007 I ended up with a list of 70-80 tracks. Great music year, but there a few that really made an impact on me in 2007:

Lil mama "Lip gloss (krazy fiesta remix)"
amazing remix by Krazy Fiesta. KF tragically lost one of the members this year; JSPR. In respect to him and his loved ones get his tracks & remixes and let them be heard on the dancefloor! R I P

Ashlee Simpson "L.O.V.E (Felix Cartal remix)"
I just love all of Felix Cartal´s work, this remake of the cheesy Ashlee song is pure perfection!

Justice "Phan†om (†hunderous Olympian's Li†e Ghos†s Remix)"
What can I say? Justice and an amazing twist by †hunderous Olympian. Love the build up and then the power punch!

Familjen "Det Snurrar i Min Skalle"
This is probably the most played song of the year at the SBC headquarters. Also, check out the great video by Johan Söderberg on da tube. And beware of the Kasper Björke remix of "Huvudet i Sanden" coming early 2008

It’s hard to stand still when you hear this remix! Tecktonik all the way!

Basutbudet "Trosa Kommun (Yeah! Woho! rmx)"
this remix have been a solid part of my live set’s this fall. Love it. And I also had a great gig night in Linköping with the Basutbudet guys on the VICE Grolsch Block Party tour! Big Up!

I played lots of great gigs this year (Vice parties in Stockholm & Linköping etc) but the one that really took my breath away was:
Roskilde Festivalen, open air stage. It rained all day, the rain ended 30min before my set. Zero (0) people the first 2 songs, after 30minutes it was packed with people that did the d.a.n.c.e! ! Then MixHell (BRA) followed and killed it! It was just an amazing feeling to play Roskilde!

Thanks 2007, hope to see ya´ll in 2008, there will be lots of new stuff on the SBC blog, not only music! Beware! One Love!

I’ve never heard the original to this tune before I stumbled upon this remix. But I did a visit to Amines webpage and I’m sorry to say that I didn’t like it. Still, I love this remix and how it’s all cut up in a typical old fashion French style.
