Decado and Stekk both meet a couple of years ago in St. Petersburg where they now live and make their music. Together they created some great deep, tech house sounding tunes.

Sorry for the low post rate but I’ve been off to Stockholm for a couple of days for fun and inspiration. But I’m glad too see that my mailbox been working, and it’s greet that you keep on sending stuff thru Facebook. Keep on doing that.
This Punks Jump Up remix has been a favourite for a while and on the plane ride home last night I got it on repeat thru out the flight.

Here’s another really long tune, also this one stretches for over 9 minuets. This time it’s Four Tet that’s the genius and I think that this is pure gold. It starts out small and somewhere in the middle is changes paste and gets more up tempo and psychedelic.
This will be a favourite on my train ride to Stockholm tomorrow.

Soul - Johan Tollgerdt

If you live southern Sweden and are into soul then you should visit this club this Saturday. Johan Tollgerdt has one of the best record collection of 70-80´s soul. When we played together I brought CD-r´s while he brought the real deal: hard to find,ultra limited tunes that rocked the house.

So if you want to hear songs that only he and some very wealthy Japanese guy have, then you should go there and listen to him.

Cicada is one of those bands where I like the remixes better than the original. But when I think of it, that’s the case in most tunes. Last time it was Dirty South that did a remix of their “The things you say” tune.
Anyway, this is a great remix by Michael Gray and I will definitely play it tonight when I DJ.

Damn! This is a great track to get you’re weekend started with! I’ve been listening to the Donnis tune for a while so when I found this remix with the melody from Journeys Don't Stop Believin' I loved it from the start. I was probably not the only one that got exited when the original was featured in the last Sopranos episode.

I Love Radio Sidekick

This Friday there’s only one place you should be if you’re in the southern parts of Sweden. Emilia and Maria invited us to play at their club I Love together with Margret Atladottir.
Previous there have been some unforgettable nights with guest like Fluokids, Teki Latex and Mr Oizo just to mention a few. This Friday they celebrate their one year anniversary and I’ll promise that it will be worth a visit.

Gui Borattos latest tune Beautiful Life was a small masterpiece and a I still listens a lot to it. So I was really glad when I found Rivington Suite. It got that same tempo and it’s almost like it’s meant to listen to when you’re in some kind of movement. Walking, dancing or driving.

Evry now and then, you find stuff that´s too good not to post.
This girl, making italo/disco music under the name Cloetta Paris, blew me away. The songs have been around for some time but she deserves all hype she can get. The coming album will be released on Skywriting records, and is produced by Roger from Nixon. It will be out in the beginning of 2008.
