Found this in my mailbox today from Twerok Records. Patrick L is one of Radio Sidekicks most played artist last year and now his back with a new EP that’s out this Wednesday over at Juno. Definitely worth checking out if you like Pet Population.
On my way to France last week we droved by Germany and past a huge industrial estate somewhere in the Ruhr area. It was in the middle of the night and all of the buildings and chimneys were glowing with bright neon colours. It was amazing and our bus went totally wild. I’ve never seen anything like it and suddenly it got very clear to me why Germany and techno go hand in hand.

Boat Club released their EP Caught The Breeze a while back and it’s definitely worth a listening. This Gothenburg duo will be doing some touring this summer so make sure that you catch one of their shows.

The first single from Rick Ross new album Trilla is banging. It’s produced by Cool and Dre and the expectations are high of what’s coming next. But it seems that nothing can stop this man that works every day, 365 times a year.

I didn’t get this tune at first but it definitely has its moments. Its Hatiras remix of the British pop/funk band Level 42 that was the bomb back in the eighties. “There is something about you…”

I first heard this Foals tune on the Zombie Disco Squad mix that was posted on Discobelle and I loved it right from the start. Surkin has done it again and this remix will be bumping in my stereo for the rest of the summer. It’s as good as it gets folks!It’s begun to be a tradition that we post a great song that turned the dance floor upside down during the weekend. This is one of them!
Me and my girlfriend were behind the turntables right before they had to brake up the party because the floor was starting to bend. It was literally bumping! And I think it's this tune that made it happened, a modern classic!
