This Miami Horror mix of Codebreakers track Exiled made my week! I liked the original but this one more suited for the dance floors.
Somebody needs to book this guy to a club in Scandinavia soon!

The Boys Are Back in Town

Well, what can I say? Happy Mondays will soon have a new record out and after hearing it I still can’t say what I think. Last summer I saw them at Roskildefestival and funnily enough it turned out to be one of the best concerts that year. But the effect of seeing them live disappears on the record.
But it’s still the Mondays so anything can happen. But they should change the cover on the CD!

This track been playing in my mp3 player for a while now and it’s one of the most played tunes on it. Its the Rocket Men’s song Candy and this Aston Shuffle remix is a killer! If you’re like me and a bit tired after the long weekend, this is the perfect track to start you’re week with.

Sinden & Count of Monte Cristal

Sinden and Count of Monte Cristal made this mix of Mr Hudson tune Ask the DJ. I can’t say that I like the original but they turned it into a brilliant electro track. I’m looking forward to hear this on several mixtapes and dance floors in the future.

Daft Punk live @ Bercy

It didn’t take long before the live show that Daft Punk did at Bercy last week started to popup around the net. It’s already a legendary concert and I’m mad jealous of all you that got to see it!
Of course we had to share this with you. Sometimes it can be hard to hear the music over all the screaming from the audience but if you close you’re eyes real hard and start thinking of lasers and robots it’s almost like you’re there.

Tronik mess!

When Sebastian did a remix of the Rakes song We Danced Together we couldn’t get enough of it and it turned out to be one of the most played tunes on our radio show.
This time it’s Tronik Youths turn to have a go at the Rakes song, World was a mess.

Steak Soundtrack

The most talked about movie at the moment must be the Steak film directed by Quentin Dupieux (Mr. Oizo). The story takes place in the year 2016 where fashion and standards of beauty has change dramatically. Everyone is into extreme facelifts so they can be a part of the "in crowd".
Of course Dupieux gather his friends Tellier and Sebastian so they al can make the soundtrack.
As you can imagine this film is worth waiting for so buy the soundtrack and wait for the movie to drop in a theatre near you.

Radio Sidekicks favourite DJs VanShe has done it again. This is the perfect tune for this midsummer weekend that’s gonna make you move you’re legs a little bit more than before. This time they had a go at Feists tune 1234. What can we say, it’s brilliant.

Rock B For Thrill

Here’s a tune from the legend Thrill Da Playa. He’s been around since the early 90’s when he was a member of the 69 Boyz. They had a big hit with Tootsee Roll from their debut album 199Quad.

I’ve just been listening to Mr Vs single Da Bump and I was glad to hear that Âme has made a mix on it. We’ve been playing Âme quite frequently on our radio show the last year and we have always loved their personal sound. Here’s one version that’s not on the single but that I prefer.

Modeselector @ Sónar

The Sónar Festival just ended and already you can find a lot of the shows around the net. The Berlin based duo Modeselektor did one of the most appreciated and talked about gigs this year.

Well, maybe some of you were wondering why this blog just got international!? We have been getting a lot of mails from people outside Sweden and that’s why we started writing in English. The radio show will however still be in Swedish. Any question, send us a postcard.

It didn’t take long before you started to hear “Drugs” on every dance floor you visited just after that it dropped on the blogsphere.
Even if Felix Cartal is pretty new to the scene he is one of the most talked about electro djs around.
Tunes like Parisienne and Gluttony is banging. Not to forget Ashlee Simpson’s “L.O.V.E.” that he turned into a masterpiece.
